The Incident Cost Recovery Division of
FAST Software, LLC invites
You to review and consider the benefits of INCIDENT COST RECOVERY, which will include:
· Immediate added revenue
· The ability to offer improved services for the residents of Jemison
· Incomparable transparency and accountability for fire department service claims.
FAST Software, LLC - based in Montgomery, AL - initiated Incident Cost Recovery services to provide levels of performance, accountability and clarity previously not available to volunteer fire departments. By coordinating our billing, collection and reporting capabilities so that we operate as an extension of your municipal operations, you will enjoy both new, added revenue AND clarity of performance. In short, we intend to earn your trust and appreciation without assuming either.
We invite the City of Jemison and the Jemison Volunteer Fire Department to assign us the task of recovering funds for services provided by the Jemison Volunteer Fire Department. The decision of which services are billed will be made by the Chief. Cost recovery actions on behalf of the Jemison Volunteer Fire Department will likely include assistance which has been provided for the following type of incidents:
· Motor Vehicle Accidents
· Structure and Auto Fires
· Medical Transport Services
· HAZMAT Response
Our Incident Cost Recovery Division will initiate billing, collection and reporting services immediately upon receiving an incident report from the Jemison Volunteer Fire Department, following a procedure similar to that described here:
· The Chief – or his designee – will submit a completed incident report to us. The report will be submitted to us via our online posting service, by fax, or by other means considered most convenient by the fire department.
· We will immediately generate a claim on behalf of the Jemison Volunteer Fire Department, determine the best means of collecting this claim, and follow through accordingly.
· We will continually evaluate the claim status and adjust our actions in a manner most likely to result in funds recovery for the department.
· At the end of each month we will forward recovered funds, less our 25% commission, to the Jemison Volunteer Fire Department or to an entity otherwise specified.
· At the end of each month we will produce a detailed report showing the exact status of each claim. This report will also include detailed statistical summaries covering the most recent month and total-service history.
· A claim will not be considered uncollectable until we have requested and received a written disposition from the insurance company. If the company refuses or fails to provide this, we will file a “disposition exception” in lieu of the written disposition.
· We will create and maintain records related to each claim you submit. We invite the City of Jemison and the Jemison Volunteer Fire Department to request and review the documentation of any claim you have submitted.
